Any IdeasOpener 'I Ate All The Pies' is a cover of Calvin Harris' song 'All The Girls'. With tongues firmly in cheek, the 4 piece pull off a humorous song with aplomb. They don't take themselves too seriously, which I'd put in the 'pros' section for them. The drums are heavy throughout, at times suffocating the vocals. As such, second track 'Breaking Away' doesn't really do that, and doesn't quite show off the band's obvious talent and potential. Happily, 'Run Cover' is a better track, with a delicate build up, and the talents of vocalists Shed and Emily come across well. Emily, who plays bass, is a talented act in her own right, yet here is backed up well by Jack, the rhythm guitarist. This is a very good track. Overall, a decent band, certainly taking into account the fact they're new to the music scene, at least in terms of gigging around Leicester.
