Camel One

Camel One- Where You Going To

Camel One are a band I have enjoyed seeing live in the past, and it is testament to them that they have managed to capture the essence of their live shows in a recording, with their 60s inspired powerpop sounding better than ever.

The 4 tracks pull in different directions, and it is a clear sign of the band's quality that any of the tracks could stand out, and garner radio interest. My pick would be live favourite 'You Should Be Told, with its' clever use of backing vocals, yet any of their brilliant, bluesy numbers would do.

Many bands will play upbeat songs, and many will cite 60s bands as their influences. Yet few will pull off an EP as consistently quality as this offering. Top work.
