Dark Sparks
Dark SparksDark Sparks are a band who have toured with bands who seem to make up a who's who of the current music scene: The Twang, The Enemy, The Pigeon Detectives and The Rumble Strips to name but a few. There's every chance they could be a big name to which bands boast of touring with by next year. 'Blood Petrol Fire' is a storming introduction to their music. It seems they've been fed on a steady diet of Interpol and Bloc Party, and a thumping drum beat catches the imagination quickly. There's also an 80s indie disco feel to their sound, perhaps better illustrated in 'Bullet in the Eye'.
