Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Dark Sparks

Dark Sparks

Dark Sparks are a band who have toured with bands who seem to make up a who's who of the current music scene: The Twang, The Enemy, The Pigeon Detectives and The Rumble Strips to name but a few. There's every chance they could be a big name to which bands boast of touring with by next year.

'Blood Petrol Fire' is a storming introduction to their music. It seems they've been fed on a steady diet of Interpol and Bloc Party, and a thumping drum beat catches the imagination quickly. There's also an 80s indie disco feel to their sound, perhaps better illustrated in 'Bullet in the Eye'.

Expect the Dark Sparks to glow brightly sonner rather than later.
