Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
DayBreak
DayBreakWow, what a sound. If Kasabian, Goldie Lookin Chain and the Music accidentally fell into a blender this is inevitably what you would end up with. There is a lot of sound going on at once and the media player can't really cope with all the noise. But I wouldn't mind betting that this lot live would blow your bloody brains out. This band has an extremely obvious Hip-Hop influence with a rock edge. "Back to Basics" starts of with a promising build up with the lyrics being lost slightly to the backing instruments. This song, although it could be recorded better, definitely shows talent and promise for records to come. Catchy riffs and key changes mixed with great lyric melody! I just wish I could hear more of the lyrics! "Hope has died" is the most hardcore and heavy start to any record I've heard today so far. With an Iggy Pop feel to it. The riff is catchy, again there's a lot to pay attention to in this record and you are literally bombarded with different sounds. The vocals and riffs work well together. This also ventures into the realms of some rather adventurous vocal screaming at the end. For Fans of: Linkin Park, Old School Rock www.myspace.com/musicdaybreak Further Information
