Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Decree

Decree

It's hard enough trying to describe their roots. Leicester and Oxford via Leeds, based sometimes in Leeds, some time in Leicester. But it's not too hard to describe their music. Any superlative would do.

'Good Times' is a slow tempo song, with vocal harmonies, solid guitar work and good lyrics. Pippa and Abby, the vocalists of Decree, have influences that range from The Beatles to Athlete, and it's somewhere in the middle that they set their stall. Very well, I may add.

'Killer Song' is my favourite from their MySpace player, with a magnificent drum beat providing the backdrop to another choice vocal performance. It's all very good indeed.

Look out for their album 'Grapes From A Thornbush.' It'd not be out of place in many a CD collection.
