Dirt FarmerAll the way from Canada come this wonderful band, with 12 tracks of wonderful pop/rock that have a strong and wide appeal. Opening song 'Bite' has a good feel, with Weezer clearly an influence in terms of the rock feel, before the slower, atmospheric 'End of the Day' brings the quality of the album up to a new level. At times the structure seems to be lacking, but the sheer quality of the songwriting is strong throughout. 'She Doesn't Mind' is a wonderful, Offspring-esque offering, whereas 'Mambo Broadway' brings us back into the atmospheric masterpiece they do best. The album consists of 9 tracks, the last of which is 'This Boy', and 3 bonus tracks to end. 'Moon Out of the Sky' is sheer excellence, and is the very essence of a bonus. 'Social Moron' is another great track, yet 'End of it All' is a fitting last track, as they have kept the best until last. Dark, intelligent, moody, class.
