Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Fit and the Conniptions
Fit and the ConniptionsFit and the Conniptions is a strange name for a band, to begin with. Then again, Badly Drawn Boy was taken. This is the brain child of Wayne Myers, who seesm to be more interested in his cartoon drawing. Yet it is the music here that shows his wonderful talent. 'Too Much Long Time' begins innocently enough, yet it's second track 'Drinkin' On My Own Again' that is the first example of the sheer brilliance of his music. The vocals go from pleasant enough to voice so brilliantly unique it has an almost Louis Armstrong feel to it. Throaty, unmistakeable delivery here. This leads on to 'Freezeframe Shutters', where all constraints are forgotten and the crazed singing takes over. 'Storm's Over' is the finale, and offers more of the same. The music is undeniably unique, and wonderfully catchy. Just a little crazy. But we'll forgive that! www.myspace.com/fitandtheconniptions Further Information
