Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Garrowz
GarrowzShoegazy mixers, Garrowz are something of a breath of fresh air. Reminiscent of Air, and to a lesser extent Beck, the music seems to be full of wonderful ideas. The sweeping "Utopian Starter Kit" is a delightful swirl, pianos colliding with synths and strings in beautiful harmony. "All my children are carrying K" takes an abrasive rap but joins it to guitars, dancing delicately around, and creates something breathtakingly exciting. Similarly "Welsh Song" has an angry vocal track, but with a superb Rokysopp languor around it. Finally, "Fried death of El Pobre" is a dancy disco tune, electro riffs bouncing around playfully to excellent effect. The songs shimmer with electro ease, and are fantastically absorbing. Garrowz' music is brilliantly unique. He really offer something new and exciting and should be given a chance to shine. www.myspace.com/garrowz Further Information
