James StarbuckIf after a hard day's work you need something to unwind to, this is pretty much spot on. James Starbuck's delicate, softly ambient style is impressive, and in 'Black Rose' it is a good place to start in delving into his collection of songs. Possessing over 20 MP3s of his own material, choosing 4 for his MySpace player must be tricky, but in 'Starlight' and 'Underneath The Stars' he chooses 2 more tracks to enhance his reputation. Yet it is his piano led 'KOM' that has the wow factor. Beautiful, intriguing, inspiring. Marvellous. Something of a diamond in the rough, he has no gig listings and a modest 109 MySpace friends.
