John Budding
John BuddingA lovely voice gives John Budding an innocence and appeal immediately, and he builds on this with well crafted, stylish songs. The acoustuc guitar and the harmonica are used to good effect, and tracks such as 'Heartless Sleeve' pleasantly listenable. 'Colourblind' is as close to acoustic perfection as i have ever heard. Slowly built up , with a wonderful piano beat and meaningful, deep lyrics. Even his voice seems to fit the music perfectly. This is the type of song that makes you stop, sit back and lose yourself in the music. 'Beth' is another great track. he's not like James Blunt, not Jack Johnson, nor Ben Folds.
