Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Koopa

Koopa

The intro to 'The Crash' is simply attitude personified, with huge, meaty guitar play used to great effect. The song dips back into rock more accessible to their teen fans, but there are further examples of the band's impressive rock credentials to be found.

Seeking to find a balance, 'Why' begins immediately with vocals, in an impressive track as close to a ballad as you're likely to hear from these ..:namespace prefix Colchester lads. It's hard to compare Koopa to other bands around. They have a similar teen appeal to Busted and McFly, but have the credibility that surpasses the flavour of the month chart bands. Why boasts intelligent song-writing and impressive vocals, and 'Ain't No Friend Of Mine' keeps in line with this style, with the pace constantly changed, to create an impressive song.

Final mention goes to the 'One Off Song For The Summer'. This is Koopa at their best, running through a checklist for a rock song that makes waves in the charts. This one off song may well be around for a few summers to come.
