Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Lester Norton

Lester Norton

Opening track 'Bradley's Song' is a wonderful showing of musicianship. Talented guitar work, gruff, passionate vocals, and a healthy mix of rock influences (read Pink Floyd, Radiohead, The Doors) evident, especially for an acoustic artist.

'I Am Wot I Am' begins in a rocky, riff righteous style, and Norton's vocals are even more impressive. There's real talent here, as further shown, in particular, through the last song on his MySpace player, the wonderful 'Narcotix'.

Something of a music enigma in Derby, with bands, musical projects and the open mic night at respected venue '5 Lamps', he's an all round talent in the music world. Yet his solo work is most impressive, which is some feat.
