Lost Without Cause
Lost Without CauseFirstly, the name. This is a band who are not lost without cause. They're a band with a lot to offer, having garnered interest from the press and even MTV already. Now to the music. It's middle of the road rock, with energetic, youthful edges that give it an irresistible quality. Rosetta Holmes, the talented drummer of the band, can cause a good old racket without mic-ing up her kit, whereas Si Marks' vocals are Axl Rose like, with energy and style. The live track on the CD: 'What Ya Wanna Do', sounds like The Fray doing 'How To Save A Life' on speed. It's a great track that is surely a live favourite for the band. The MTV interest, based around a 'Get Seen, Get Heard' slogan, has given the talented trio a confidence boost that comes across loud and clear. The band are also rather impressive in the acoustic stakes, if the fantastic 'Write Your Own Ending' is anything to go by. Strong vocals, strong sound, strong appeal.
