Redditch and Birmingham bred Page 44 are near enough my neck of the woods! Having played gigs at the Barfly in Birmingham and heading as far afield as Swansea these guys seem faily well travelled with Myspace pages in Australia, Swansea, Scotland and Liverpool!

"Watch Me Fade" has a very melodic beginning with an early InMe feel to it with more complex and varied vocal talent. The riffs bulk up the chorus to a substantial level. This is a jilted ballad with a darker edge. Page 44 sound very much like the illegitimate love children of Gerrard Way and Bert McCracken (however unlikely this may be), who were all jilted at the alter multiple times by Quintuplets. The lyrics are actually understandable and worth listening to which is enjoyable. All of the band members have listed their influences separately so theres far to many to delve into but theres an obviouse Emo/Alternative influence!

The newest song on their player "Anywhere" is my personal favourite! It has a real power ballad feel to it! This shows a lot more depth to the band than the last track with many different layers of vocals and pyrics with the obvious power behind the overall sound. Would blend right in on a "Power Ballad" Double disk in you local HMV! Reminiscent of very old classics. This band prove in their Media player they are indeed not on trick ponies!

Their first track on the player is a small snippet of whats to come with a slight "The Music" edge to it, keep you eyes and ears open for this lot. Taking over at a venue near you.
