Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
Picturebox

Picturebox

Picturebox are great fun. Playing easily likeable lo fi pop, they are the perfect pick me up in the morning. It may be the fact that their EP is called Dogs, but they remind me of The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. With Belle & sebastien abd Beatles influenced thrown in for good measure.

'Beagle' jaunts along pleasantly, and is a good sign for the EP. Yet it's 'Beans and Bones' that is my favourite: a genuine classic, with sliding guitars, great vocals and an overall sound drenched in good times.

'Jennifer's Brother' is a suitably great final track on their MySpace page, and the potential here is considerable.
