Pothole
PotholePunk upstarts Pothole are furiously talented. "Disco Barbee Dolls" sounds like early Franz Ferdinand thrown with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. "Dammed" is indie in metal clothing, with growling guitars concealing a devilish vocal heart, "Say it Again Backwards" has an early Oasis vibe mixed with a menacing guitar pounding throughout, threatening to break out. "Mean to me" closes on a Kasabian style thumper, but with more intelligence than Tom Meighan's group can bring to the party.
