Requiem For An Empire
Requiem For An EmpireRFAE seem to be trying to be everything at once. Their track Let Me Out Of Here contains a rather funky baseline which leads you to believe its going to be an interesting experimental alt-rock romp, then drops into a quiet bit in the middle for the casual Coldplay fan, then goes into rather out-of-place death metal-esque roars. Rather bizarrely, it seems to work. They're a bit of an odd band that is well worth a listen.
