Solitary Blossom
Solitary BlossomLike Damien Rice crossed with Roddy Woomble, Solitary Blossom are a delight to listen to. "Hate me now" is as forlorn as it is hopeful, with heart-melting vocals rendered over a beautifully simple guitar. "Hollow" is a shoe gazy treat, with hints of Smashing Pumpkins and a Perfect Circle darting through the gloriously constructed melodies. "Worn Away" is a Doves style romp, with the consistently brilliant vocals echoing over desperate guitars.
