Taylor Haycraft
Taylor HaycraftTaylor Haycraft is clearly inspired by the likes of The Cure and Smashing Pumpkins, in sound and style, and this allows him to come up with an alternative sound with helpings of new wave attitude to boot. 'Vanity' combines inventive guitar work with vocals that cannot be ignored, leading on to the heavier, intelligent work of 'Water'. The strangely titled 'Moon With A Rocket In Its Eye, which shares its name with his forthcoming EP, is a track that is slower in its build up, before big, heavy vocals come in. This is Mr. haycraft at his confident best. 'Wild Is The Wind' and 'Medellia Of The Gray' wrap up his offerings via his MySpace site, and overall he impresses.
