The Cassini Division
The Cassini DivisionTaking A Perfect Circle's template of radio friendly heavy rock, their take on this style is impressive. 'Farewell' is a solid opener, with arrogant guitar licks leading headway into a rock and roll feast. The complexity of their songs is what sets them apart from others, and each member of the 5 piece band's pedigree is clear from the wonderful manner in which they piece together their songs. In 'The Neuropil Collapse' a progressive, winding riff that begins the song provides the backbone for a quality offering: one which is probably their stand-out track. Their live track, 'Heave', further shows the complexity that is a Cassini Division song. Dynamic metal one minute, driving rock the next, strong vocals, guitars and drums.
