The Cravattes
The Cravattes- William Morris EPIf you're in need for something to listen to this summer, whether it be at the beach or in the pub, this is it. Combining surf and French pop majestically, their style is perfect for summer listening. From the mesmerizing drum intro to sensational opener 'Le Roi,' it's clear that this is a band going places. Comparisons can be made to The Magic Numbers and The Long Blondes, yet their music stands up on its own and cannot fail to impress. Lead singer Chloe's vocal delivery is brilliant, skipping ahead of the tracks and begging for repeated listening. 'Lost/Found' is irresistible, with a more funky sound with tinges of 60s chic and shuffley beats, and through track 'GWTSUTRT' it is clear to see that The Cravattes are charming, confident and classy.
