Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
The Daykings

The Daykings

'I've Seen The Sun' features brilliant lyrics, chirpy guitars and an overall energy reminiscent of acts such as Supergrass, all the time dealing with issues no bigger than the weather. A band without agendas, only interested in music. It's all compelling stuff.

'On Your Own' is more of a rocky offering, with a strong backdrop of drums and guitars that provide the platform for lead singer Simon Cave to show what a great he has. The guitar solo and the constantly impressive drumming are both positives for the band to boast about, and these traits lead into storming track 'Take It In'.

This is feel good, uplifting rock that is well executed, original and catchy. Highly recommended.
