The Eaves
The EavesThe vocals of Nick Thornton are immediately impressive. They have an almost Morrissey quality to them, and this gives The Eaves an edge straight away. 'Pound In My Pocket' is certainly a solid offering. The style they go for is melodic indie rock, yet the band are clearly influenced by bands such as Oasis. 'Leave A Light On' has a very Oasis-like feel to it, and it's this track that has been played on the radio. This track has the potential to win them fans beyond Leicester, and is their best offering. Having only formed just over a year ago, the strides they've been taking sets them in good stead for the future.
