The Great Blind Degree
The Great Blind DegreeI am slightly biased in doing this review as I bloody love these guys. I have seen them play many times varied from DMU Student Union and The Marrs Bar in Worcester to their usual haunt Cox's Yard in Stratford. This ridiculously talented bunch of people hail from Leomingtom Spa but wont stop there, they are seriously going places. This is tongue in cheek indy at its best. "Got Me Talking" has got a infuriating hook (in the best way!), you'll be humming the chorus for weeks. With its cheerful electric keyboard backing and harmonies it's a must for your Elecro-Indy collectif. "Coco" has much more of a narrative theme to it, with a upbeat quirky bassline and the odd precisely placed expletive. Its fun for all the family! These guys are great all rounders in the music stakes. Its easy listening when your tired but also the same tracks when listened to with higher concentration are much more complex than you may imagine.
