Band and Demo Reviews: Unsigned Music Reviews
The Lifeless

The Lifeless

The Lifeless are a band with a bit of an identity crisis, swapping between bog-standard indie and quite lively punk rock several times within one song. Helsinki is a barely-two-minutes blast that initially put me in mind of indie no-marks The Others, but improved dramatically when they remembered they were a punk band and found a big lively chorus.

Vocalist Rob is capable of a great scream, and the band excel at the louder parts much more than when they're trying to be melodic, which just falls rather flat. Once they work out that they're not an indie band they might be capable of going places.
