The Lifeless
The LifelessThe Lifeless are a band with a bit of an identity crisis, swapping between bog-standard indie and quite lively punk rock several times within one song. Helsinki is a barely-two-minutes blast that initially put me in mind of indie no-marks The Others, but improved dramatically when they remembered they were a punk band and found a big lively chorus. Vocalist Rob is capable of a great scream, and the band excel at the louder parts much more than when they're trying to be melodic, which just falls rather flat.
