The Tonks
The TonksThe Tonks have a good sound that is given gloss by excellent guitar work, with a fantastic solo in the catchy opener 'A Question Of Faith' and the impressive use in 'All Over The Place'. The first two tracks from their EP are designed to catch the listener's attention, and they certainly do that. Third track 'Say Sorry' then really hits home what they're about. Excllent guitar work again, good drums and vocals that come across very well. The band seem to have been influenced by all bands punk rock, and a LostProphets vibe comes across in 'Human Annoyed'. It's an EP of good consistency, and the 7 tracks presented stick to roughly the same level of quality. I like 'Find The Letter' in particular, and 'Resting With Angels' brings things to an end well. The tonks certainly show quality and potential here, and 2008 could very well be a year they develop into a great band. myspace.com/thetonks2007 Further Information
